Hi res is a hoax.Even with Dac and ATm40xi cant hear difference above 16 bit.(its hard to differentiate between proper encoded 320 or aac @256 vs 16bit lossless if you are an audiophil).Hi res is a scam by companies like sony to loot people.You cant hear anything above 22khz unless you are a cat.
You can hear the difference but you need high quality headphone or music ststem and even if you can't hear the difference still flac or wav 16 bit has true quality than m4a aac mp3
You can check ddifference inin spectrogr too in audacity (software) Last point as we grew older our hearing ability will reduce and after 40 or 45 we will not be able to hear above 15 Khz sound still 16 bit is good option
Bro human audible range is between 20hz and 20khz so frequencues dont matter(i know the guy on reddit who developed spek).Believe me when i say this lossless (for general and above 16bit for audiophiles) is for sampling or acheiving when you dont have to worry about compression because sampling and other effects sounds good on lossless in studio.16 bit is more than enough for hearing for any equipment(i am an audiophile and age is 24).The time you hear 24bit wav ,hi res ,vinyl rip better ,the placebo(spelling) effect is working or lossless version is mastered or encoded differently.If you dont beleive me encode a wav file into 320 cbr ,m4a 256,flac 16 bit and wav ..then do a blind test.You are on spot with that age thing by the way brother.Just enjoy this hobby.
That being said everybody is different and like salman khan says," do whatever u want to do man just dont hurt your mother'.I assume your mother is not hurted by your hobby and storage is cheap so go on and enjoy.Personally to me i can hear subtle difference upto 16 bit,above it its all greek to me.So just enjoy it does not matter much.
I experimented many time sometime difference can not be found but sometimes i found difference between wav and m4a 256 kbps And 24 bit is hoax actually it is only give extra 48 db clearity mena 144 db whereas 16 bit give 96 db so almost difference in 16 bit and 24 bit
It's not the problem of nitrate.but a flat or wav (at least) guarantee you free from compressions.i know there are good compression (specially in aac) but still we can't fully believe if the audio is 320kbps or not.i have listened to many songs which claim to be 320kbps but has much loss of information.maybe it's because of bad compression or just a flash claim.but there is no such problem when we buy a CD or flac.
Yes that i would agree. It all depends on the listening gear. and each of us are wired differently everyone perceives sound in different way each of our ear canals are different, some can point out the minor distortions in the music. it all depends how you listen too. if you have a reference level earphones and lot of commotion around you that sound would definitely affect the sound you listen to. That being said I have been trying to download the compilation of hindi songs u posted.
